Social Studies · Novari Study
Make a point. Explain it well.
Move from remembering a definition to building a clear answer with a relevant example.
Practise Social StudiesStart with the learning problem
A list of memorised points can leave an answer underdeveloped. Practise explaining the connection between a cause, its effect and an example, while staying focused on the question being asked.
Social Studies is one of the four WASSCE core subjects identified by WAEC Ghana. The activities here are revision methods, rather than an exhaustive list of syllabus topics or official marking instructions. Use current class materials to select the content you need.
From material to practice
How to get started
Identify the instruction
Pick a question from your notes. Distinguish between defining a term, describing a situation and explaining a relationship.
Build a short answer
Write one clear point, explain it and add a relevant example. Ask Novari to help you spot an unsupported claim.
Test recall later
Generate flashcard prompts for terms and a quiz for applications. Revisit the topic without reading your previous answer first.
Try this approach
Original exercise: explaining a relationship
Prompt: Explain one way community participation can improve a local project. A useful answer identifies a mechanism: residents can describe practical needs, helping planners choose a service the community can use. Add an example relevant to the project.
Make the session useful
Match the question
Before adding another point, check whether the current sentence answers the instruction. More text is not automatically a stronger answer.
Verify current examples
Use reliable sources for public institutions, laws and current events. An AI response can contain outdated or inaccurate information about them.
Official information to keep close
Use these sources and your school’s guidance for current requirements. Revision activities on this page are original examples, not official examination questions.
