English Language · Novari Study
Read carefully. Write clearly.
Build an English revision routine around understanding a passage and explaining your own ideas.
Study a passageStart with the learning problem
Knowing a word is not always enough to interpret it in a passage. In writing, an idea can be sound but difficult to follow. Revision should include both close reading and short, deliberate writing practice.
English Language is a core WASSCE subject in Ghana. These activities support reading and writing practice; they do not specify the current paper structure, prescribed texts or marking allocation. Use the syllabus and guidance supplied by your school for those details.
From material to practice
How to get started
Read a short passage
Bring a permitted text to Smart Reader. Identify the writer’s main point and underline the details that support it.
Answer with evidence
Ask Novari to generate questions from the passage. Write an answer before reading feedback, then check whether the passage supports your interpretation.
Revise one paragraph
Choose a short piece of your writing. Review clarity, sentence structure and relevance separately so you can see what each change improves.
Try this approach
Original vocabulary exercise
“Ama gave a candid account of the meeting.” Here, candid means frank or honest. Replacing it with “careful” changes the meaning. Write your own sentence using candid, then explain why the word fits.
Make the session useful
Practise evidence, not guessing
After choosing an answer, find the phrase that supports it. If you cannot, reread the relevant section before accepting an AI explanation.
Keep your own voice
Use suggestions to revise your work, then explain why a change helps. Copying a generated essay does not practise organising your own argument.
Official information to keep close
Use these sources and your school’s guidance for current requirements. Revision activities on this page are original examples, not official examination questions.
