What you can use here
Finishing a paper is only half the work. A score alone cannot tell you whether you lost marks through weak knowledge, a missed instruction or incomplete working. The useful part is identifying which of those happened and practising the skill again.
This page explains how to study WASSCE past questions that you obtain lawfully. It is not a public download bank and does not distribute WAEC papers or claim a licensed archive. Novari’s question workflow can extract a paper you upload for timed or untimed practice; inspect the extracted content before attempting it.
From material to practice
Use your paper carefully
Check the source
Use a paper supplied through a legitimate source and respect its permissions. Include a mark scheme only if you are permitted to upload it. Do not upload personal candidate details.
Inspect before you begin
Open the extracted questions and compare numbering, diagrams and symbols against the original. Correct unclear scans or choose a cleaner copy before relying on the exercise.
Attempt, check, repeat
Try the paper, then compare AI feedback with the original mark scheme or a teacher’s explanation. Group your errors by topic and practise a different example of each.
Try this approach
Turn a mistake into a new task
If you solved an equation correctly but omitted the requested unit in a word problem, write a short answer-check routine: quantity, working, unit and reasonableness. Apply it to your next three questions.
Make the session useful
Keep official advice separate
WAEC’s Chief Examiners’ Reports can help you understand recurring weaknesses. They are guidance, not a substitute for the syllabus or a promise about future questions.
Review beyond the total
Keep the original paper beside the extracted version. Missing diagrams, handwritten work and mathematical symbols can change what a question means. A timed attempt is practice, not an official exam simulation with guaranteed matching conditions.
Official information to keep close
Use these sources and your school’s guidance for current requirements. Revision activities on this page are original examples, not official examination questions.
